A long coat in a wool blend, cut with a notch lapel and a concealed front so the line down the middle stays unbroken. It falls to below the knee and hangs straight from the shoulder rather than following the waist. The lapel is narrow and rolls softly against the chest, which gives the coat a tailored read without any of the stiffness of a suit.
The relaxed cut leaves room for a knit or a blazer underneath, and the sleeve runs long and clean to the wrist with nothing at the cuff to catch. Welt pockets sit at the hip, set at a slight angle so your hands drop into them without reaching.
