A satin maxi with a high draped halter neck, where the cloth is gathered at the throat and falls in soft folds across the chest instead of being cut flat against it. That draping is what lets the bodice sit loosely on the body while the skirt below stays smooth and close, and the satin carries enough sheen for the folds to read clearly rather than flatten out.
